The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (CoHSS-KNUST) took to the streets on Sunday, 20th February, 2022 to share food for the homeless and less privileged as a way of celebrating its President, Richard Kovor’s birthday.

CoHSS-KNUST like few others in the Ghanaian society are of the conviction that the world can be a better place if we show love, affection and extend a kind gesture to the less privileged and the disabled in the society rather than stigmatizing them.

Speaking to Thriller News GH during the philanthropic mission, they noted that they could have celebrated their President’s day alone with few friends but decided to share the little at their disposal and the blessings from the Lord with the homeless, sick and less privileged.

“We are sharing with them not because I have enough but because we know how it feels to have nothing and we hope others will emulate the little we have done”, they noted.

CoHSS-KNUST pulled up to random places in Kumasi to give out the food.
