Auditions for the maiden edition of Face of Ghana has opened with nominations for prospective contestants.
The educational beauty pageant is open to females between the ages of 18 and 27 that would be engaged in series of competition categories including talent shows and runway skills.
Speaking with Thriller News GH at the launch of the pageantry, Chief Executive Officer of Face of Ghana, Master Jedidiah Aryeepah said the beauty pageant would give females a good foundation as they aspire to become top models in the near future.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1. Read contestant requirements.
2. Fill in the application forms carefully.
3. Print the completely filled application.
4. Attach supporting documents to completed application form, along with a passport size photograph.
5. Come to audition venue formally dressed with an application fee of Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS 50.00).
Eligibility
1. Automatic qualification once a female citizen of Ghana.
2. Age limit – 18-27 years.
3. Height – Minimum of 5 feet 6 inches and above. 4. Must be a UK body size 6-10 or it’s equivalent.
5. Single and never married.
6. Shrewd and well-informed.
7. Must not have any criminal record.
8. Must be eloquent in written and spoken English and a local dialect.
9. Must know the Face of Ghana brand, the Face of Ghana Foundation, Ghana as well as being abreast with global issues.
10. Have humility and a desire to advance the lives of others.
11. Preparedness to dedicate a minimum of 1 full year of fundraising and charity work under the Face of Ghana Foundation from the start of the contest till after participation in the Face of Ghana pageant (ie willing to defer all other engagements/commitments till after reign).
12. Strictly abide by the code of conduct as well as the rules and regulations of the contest.
Judiciously execute her role and responsibilities. Must have completed senior secondary education or be in a tertiary institution or have completed tertiary education. Must have a national ID, preferably a passport. Must be a qualified driver with a valid driver’s license before the end of the grand finals.
