Students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology will not go to the polls this year to elect new executives for its Students Representative Council (SRC), SRC President, Master Adu-Baah Charles has announced.
He says that after necessary consultations with relevant stakeholders to ensure continuance of the SRC, He has signed an instrument for an interim committee to handle SRC duties.
Master Adu-Baah Charles added the provision of the SRC constitution, which spells out what must be done when it is envisaged that it is impracticable to hold elections in a particular academic year.
