
ATLANTA — Georgia State University’s Department of Biology has extended the application deadline for its master’s program, offering more time for prospective students to apply for fall 2025 admission.
The program which is promoted as a launch pad for careers in biosciences, includes opportunities for research and mentoring, a full tuition waiver, and a $2,500 stipend per semester.
Students applying by Aug. 1, 2025, will be considered for available graduate teaching assistant (GTA) positions.
The department notes that no recommendation letters are required to start the application.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students to advance their future career, gain specialized training and experience, and join our dynamic community,” Zehava Eichenbaum, professor and chair of the biology department, said in a LinkedIn post.
