St. Peter’s Senior High School in Nkwatia, Eastern Region, has etched its name in Ghanaian educational history by pioneering the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) lab on its campus.
This was revealed on Twitter by an award-winning blogger, SikaOfficial, as he wrote in a Twitter post “St. Peter’s Senior High School in Nkwatia, Eastern Region, makes history as it becomes the first public Senior High School in the country to establish an Artificial Intelligence (AI) lab on its campus”
This groundbreaking initiative marks the school as the first public Senior High School in the country to establish an AI lab on it’s campus.

The Coral Reef Innovation Hub, supported by NEIP, Intel, and the St. Peter’s Old Boys Association (PERSCOBA), inaugurated the AI lab on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
Notably, St. Peter’s Senior High School has long been a beacon of academic excellence, holding the prestigious title of three-time champions in the National Science and Maths Quiz.
