Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has made changes to its 2022/2023 academic calender.
According to the new changes, freshmen are to ignore the initial January 1 reporting date and stick to Saturday January 14, 2023 as the new and official reporting date on the university campus.
Continuing students are also scheduled to report on Saturday January 21, 2023.
Lectures begins on Monday, January 23rd for all students of the university.
Meanwhile, supplemental examinations are to be organised for Final Years to enable them graduate at the next Congregation in March 2023.
Continuing students trailing First Semester Courses are also to be given the opportunity to clear their trails during the Supplementary Examinations.
Supplementary Examinations for 2022/2023 academic year will come off in November 2023, as scheduled.
Students trailing second semester courses in the 2021/2022 academic year, and courses at the end of the 2022/2023 academic year would have the opportunity to redeem their trails during this period.

Monday, 9th – Friday, 20th January, 2023
First Semester Courses – 9th to 13th January, 2023
Second Semester Courses – 16th to 20th January, 2023
2022/2023 Re-opening Dates
Arrival of First Year Students – Saturday, 14th January, 2023
Arrival of Continuing Students – Saturday, 21st January, 2023
Lectures begin – Monday, 23rd January, 2023
