Thriller News GH’s outstanding team member and a final year History student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Duodu Emmanuel Jerry Frimpong, has won the 2022 KNUST cross country championship held on Saturday July 16.
This makes it the second time he has won the championship.
The first time Emmanuel Jerry Frimpong won the championship and top prize of the KNUST cross country was during the 2019/2020 academic year of the University.
Having completed the 10km race in less than 32 minutes, he grabbed the trophy once again in this year’s cross country.
He was honoured for his remarkable strides and noteworthy success by the sports directorate of the University.
Jerry Frimpong with great excitement thanked the sports team including his fellow athletes and pledged to do more as he represent the University community at University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Volta Region, Ho on 11th August 2022 for the National Cross Country Competition.
