Safo Emmanuel Sadari is set to contest as the deputy secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Savannah region in the upcoming regional elections of the party.
Mr. Safo Emmanuel Sadari who is affectionately known as “Okatayie Safo” is the son of NDC-Former District Chief Executive (DCE) of West Gonja (Damongo-Daboya-Buipe) in the 1990’s, widely known as Mr. Diggi, who was also a close Confidant to former president Jerry John Rawlings,founder of the NDC party and a cousin to former president John Dramani Mahama.
In a statement released from the camp of Mr. Safo Emmanuel Sadari on 21st September, 2022, it stated that after a personal assessment, wide consultations with the party’s stalwarts and calls from the youth and other stakeholders in the party, Mr. Safo Emmanuel Sadari has declared his intention to contest and file for the position of Deputy Savannah Regional Secretary of the NDC.
It also added that the aspirant is coming on board with exceptional leadership and teamwork traits to service the NDC in the Savannah Region as the party in the region is ardently working to improve its VISIBILITY, and ensure a UNIFIED FRONT aimed towards winning election 2024.
Mr. Safo Emmanuel Sadari was nurtured in the NDC since infancy by loyal women of 31st December movement and dedicated cadres who commitedly served the NDC through different wings in different capacities.
As a young vibrant politician, he brings on board his cummulative professional experience as a Development Planning Officer with Local Government Service and as a Management Development professional with PeaNET.
He has also played varied roles as a member of the NDC in the Bole-Bamboi constituency and have developed his interpersonal relationship interacting with NDC membership and assisted in the growth of NDC in the Savannah Region.
As a poised aspirant, Mr. Safo Emmanuel Sadari said, “I already know and appreciate the constraints we in the NDC and the entirety of the good people of the Savannah Region are confronted with and I am particularly honoured that constituency stakeholders, council of elders as well as past and present appointees of the NDC in the Savannah Region and at the National level identified in me as a man thoroughly trained and groomed in the art and science of critical communication skills (Oral and Written) to contribute my quota in addressing these constraints in the march before, during and after VICTORY 2024 in the Savannah Region”.
As Deputy Regional Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Safo promised to work efficiently to enhance the Visibility of the NDC, effectively build bridges to connect old Cadres and new faithfuls, and help develop a new outlook for the party for future election. “This is a common interest of every NDC member in the Savannah Region and Ghana”; he emphasised.
Okatayie Safo also noted saying, “It will be an honour to serve the NDC which is the political party of my birth, orientation and understanding in the capacity as Deputy Regional Secretary.”
Mr. Safo Emmanuel Sadari implored all NDC delegates, stakeholders, council of elders, Members of Parliament, as well as former elected and appointed stalwarts of the Great NDC in the Savannah Region to endorse his candidacy with the humblest of support and noblest of weight ; as the NDC works for VICTORY 2024.
