The Bono Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Evans Afari Gyan Yeboah has called on the leadership of the party and members to ignore the recent propaganda gimmicks by John Mahama, 2020 NDC flagbearer.

According to Mr. Evans Afari, the NDC through John Mahama is trying every means possible to shift the attention of the NPP to Presidential elections in the 2024 general election and has therefore generated conversations of such in recent news.
Mr. Evans has however advised the leadership of the NPP party not to respond to the continues propaganda tricks of the ‘already bad product Mahama’ but rather focus on regaining an overwhelming majority in Parliament in 2024 by selecting ‘winnable’ candidates.
“The already bad product and the most incompetent in the history of the 4th republic, John Mahama, who is power drunk and got nothing to offer the good people of Ghana is trying every means to frustrate the government good policies and generate national conversation around the presidential election in 2024. This attempt is to make our party loose focus on Parliamentary elections. It happened to us in 2008 and 2012 respectively. It’s time party members and leadership of the party ignore the NDC propaganda gimmicks and focus on working hard to regain an overwhelming majority in Parliament in 2024″, he said.
He has also appealed to the National Executive Council of the party to support constituency executives to work assiduously and recapture all lost seats and gain majority in Parliament in the 2024 general election.
Mr. Evans noted that in the Bono Region under his leadership as the Organizer and together with other Regional executives, winning all the 12 seats in the region is possible.
“Together with my Bono Regional Executives, winning all the 12 parliamentary seats is possible in the 2024 general election. We are focused and won’t pay attention to any propaganda gimmicks from any opposition party. We will not allow ourselves to be persuaded by any NDC contractor or whoever. We want to work hard for the party and continue to make progress for the good people of Ghana”, he said.
