The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Estate Office will today, Monday December 28, 2021 commence fumigation of the institution’s environment ahead of January 8, 2022 resumption date for arrival of newly admitted students.
The fumigation exercise form part of the efforts to keep the University safe for students, staff, visitors and relevant stakeholders.
The exercise will begin today with the Halls of residence, then later continue with lecture halls, offices, main administration block, library among others.
According to the University’s academic calendar, newly admitted students (Freshers) will report to campus on Saturday January 8, 2021 and continuing students on Saturday January 15, 2021.
Academic activities for all students officially begins on 17th January, 2021.
