
A 3rd year student reading Development Planning in the Kwame University of Science and Technology, Master Roland Agyenim Boateng has reiterated the need to adhere to the various safety protocols, especially the nose mask-wearing.
As a result, Master Roland Agyenim Boateng who is aspiring to be the next Kotei Member of Parliament in the upcoming KNUST SRC 2021/2022 elections has donated 1,000 nose masks to the residents of Kotei to help fight against COVID-19.

He reiterated on 30th March where he donated 1,000 nose masks to Kotei lower primary 2 students, selected hostel in Kotei (celia hostel) and the Kotei security Post.
Speaking on the Covid-19 safety protocols, Master Roland Agyenim Boateng urged students at Kotei Primary School to “be very careful and always properly wear the masks, not to be under your cheeks, no not like that and also make sure that you observe distancing” because the “virus is real” and also called on teachers to intensify education on Covid-19 to the pupils.

In an interview with Thriller News GH after the donation, Master Roland said the COVID-19 pandemic is real and asked residents, especially the youth to strictly follow the protocols outlined by the President and Ghana Health Service (GHS) to curb the deadly disease.
He said it is part of his mandates to “assist the Kotei Community in preventing the outbreak of the virus” hence the need for donating the masks. He also expressed his commitment to make positive impact in the Kotei community.

The Chief Inspector of Kotei Security Post, Mr. Kobina John, the Porter of Cecelia Hostel, thanked Master Roland for the intervention and promised to intensify Covid-19 education in the Kotei Community as part of steps to prevent any possible contracting of the virus.

He said the masks would go a long way to help tame the COVID-19 Pandemic that had unleashed untold hardships to the people in the country especially residents of Kotei.
