KNUST revokes Diploma Certificate of Nursing and Midwifery Graduate

A release from the Registrar of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has disclosed the revocation of the Diploma Certificate of Miss Comfort Atingane, a nursing and midwifery graduate.

According to the release sighted by Thrillernewsgh.com, Miss Comfort Atingane had fraudulently gained admission into the Sunyani Nursing and Midwifery Training College (SNMTC) with the Wassce certificate of one Miss Afobiga Amaliba Diana.

“KNUST awarded Miss Atingane a Diploma in February, 2020 based on the presentations made by the SNMTC for the award of same at the time and on the assumption that she was a bonafide student of the SNMTC”, the release stated.

The Academic Board of the University has therefore revoked the diploma certificate awarded to Miss. Atingane with effect from February 2020, the date of an award based on Miss. Atingane’s act of impersonation and falsification of results based on which she was admitted.

According to the Academic board of the University, the said decision has been taken to safeguard the reputation of the University and all relevant authorities are duly informed.
