The Academic Affairs Directorate of the University of the University of Ghana will, from Friday, March 5, 2021, provide provisional ID cards for all first year students.
Beginning Friday, fresh students can access the University’s website through https://sts.ug.edu.gh/services/ to print their temporary IDs for the first semester examinations.
“Since the Regulations on University Examinations however requires that an examination candidate carries on him/her a valid University of Ghana identity card, the Academic Affairs Directorate together with the University of Ghana Computing Systems is providing provisional students identity cards for all affected students for the first semester 2020/21 examinations,” a notice issued to students on Thursday said.
All first year students should note that the provisional ID cards are mandatory for identification for all examinations and “should be presented with no additional inscriptions at the Examination Halls.”
“This is to inform all fresh students that due to a few challenges, their official student identity cards will not be available until next semester,” the notice added.
