“Marriage is not slavery but freedom with respect”- Rev. Dr. Charlotte Oduro

Ghanaian Counselor, Rev. Dr. Charlotte Oduro has urged students at the Kwame University of Science and Technology not to rush into marriage.

Speaking at “The Dark Truth Program” organized by the Women’s Commission of the faculty of Social Sciences, Rev. Charlotte Oduro advised that before a person commits to marry, he or she should thoroughly assess himself or herself.

She said the person must ensure he or she fully understands the intricacies of the marriage institution.

Rev. Dr. Charlotte Oduro reiterated that women are not supposed to be treated like slaves when it comes to marriage but with respect and freedom.

The Counselor explained that marriage entails both good and bad events but the couple must stay together in marriage no matter the challenges and respect each other accordingly.
