
Following the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and deaths, The 2020/2021 executives of the Historical Society of KNUST (HISOK) have resolved to supply free nose masks to protect students from possible COVID-19 infections.

Speaking in an interview with Thriller News GH, the President of the Society, Master Frederick Ayeh noted that the initiative is to augment the efforts by the university management in the fight and protect students against the novel coronavirus.
According to Master Frederick Ayeh, the distribution of the nose masks will be done in phases.
“Thrird year and Final year students will be supplied in their classrooms on Wednesday 24, February, 2021. First year students will also be supplied in their classrooms on Thursday 25th February, 2021, Then second year students on Friday 26th February, 2021”, he stated.
The executives of the society also pleaded with students to wear the nose masks to avoid contracting the coronavirus and protect themselves as well.
