Reports reaching Focus news and monitored by Thriller News GH has it that, the said persons who were alleged to have assaulted the President of the Students Representative Council and some other executives of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have been arrested by the police.
On Sunday, September 29, 2019, Master Adu Baah Charles, the KNUST SRC president was alleged to have been assaulted by persons the SRC President identified as alumni of the University and one level 400 students.
Sources gathered by Focus news and monitored by thrillernewsgh.com reveals that these alleged persons who assaulted the KNUST SRC president did so after the president refused to settle them with money after winning the elections.
According to the culprits, the president failed to provide the money and some items they demanded to ‘’pacify the gods’’, adding that they were disappointed in him.
The persons accused of committing the said act are as follows

List of assaults on KNUST SRC executives.
1.On Friday, 27th September 2019, some student leaders were physically assaulted between the hours of 21:00 and 23:00.
2.The Deputy Chief of Staff, Gideon Amo-Agyei, Emmanuel Adomako – Nyantakyi, TekTalk Chairperson were the appointees assaulted on Friday evening. The assault came after the two visited Unity Hall during their first Morale session for the semester.
3.The following day, Saturday, 28th September 2019, SRC Properties Commissioner, Arkarfie Emmanuel was also assaulted and his phone taken as well. We can also confirm that the SRC Financial Secretary, Maxwell Boakye Danso encountered a similar situation some weeks ago.
4.Two Unity Hall Executives in the persons of Clement Ayidaana (General Secretary) and Dennis Appiah Kumah (Entertainment Chairperson) were assaulted on Saturday evening.
