The College of Humanities of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (CoHSS-KNUST) has officially announced its ‘CoHSSTREPRENEURSHIP’ initiative, which was recently hinted at by the President, Richard Kovor popularly known as DR K.
Speaking to Thriller News GH, the President of the college, Master Richard Kovor noted that, it was unfortunate that most graduates were finding it difficult to transition from university education to work mainly because of mismatch of skills.
This according to him makes it crucial to provide students with workplace-ready soft skills to enable them succeed in the rapidly digitizing world of work.
The practical skills training dubbed “COHSSTREPRENEURSHIP” is a one-month long program which begins on Saturday 26th March, 2022 at the KNUST School of Business (KSB) Block C.

The program themed ‘the roles of the CoHSSTREPRENEUR In KNUST’s New Age’ is planned to take place in two phases and shall be observed on Saturdays only.
First Phase of the program which begins on Saturday 26th March is planned to cover video editing, Graphic Design, Blogging, Photography, Digital Marketing, Monetization of Social Media.

Second Phase would also cover Microsoft Office, SPSS, Academic and digital skills, AutoCAD.

The program will also offer certificates, free lunch and internship opportunities for participants.
