We are not in normal times so we cannot leave anything to chance. The Students Representative Council of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have been inconsistent in releasing effective communique to students.
Not long ago, the SRC Parliamentary Council published a statement in its official Twitter handle directing that students can go for their belongings following a purported agreement with management.
It is our understanding that all students from now can start coming for their belongings. Please have in your possession your student ID if you reside in a Traditional Hall or Hostel inside Campus(GUSSS)

Following media reports about the information, the KNUST SRC publicized a new release to refute what was released earlier by the Parliamentary Council and made a clarification that they are planing to release a clearly arranged timeline on how and when students could come to campus for their belongings.

Nevertheless, the Public Relations Office again released a statement and explained that no decision of students coming for their belongings has been made with the University Management.
So many contradictions have been made in this emergency time that we (Thriller News GH) reckon is not an effective way for good communication.
Another instance of such miscommunication was when the SRC announced in a statement that Final years will continue with the online examination, yet Management released an official statement directing some category of students to report on campus.
The point is, information from the SRC must be finite and valid after a thorough conclusion before it’s published or announced to the general student’s populace.
