ACCRA — The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) have commenced the 2024 enlistment process for the Regular Career Course and Short Service Commission Officers.
The announcement, which appeared in the Sept. 13 edition of the Daily Graphic and Sept. 16 edition of the Ghanaian Times, said that scratch cards for the online application are on sale for GH¢350 at designated Ghana Post offices across the country.
The application portal is now open, and interested candidates can apply online at apply.mil.gh until Oct. 11.
The GAF stated that it does not employ middlemen or agents for its enlistment process and warned the public against any individuals or entities demanding money to assist with recruitment.
“Individuals who present themselves as middlemen, intermediaries, or agents demanding payment in order to assist any candidate(s) should be reported to the nearest military installation or Police Station,” GAF said in a statement.
“The public is hereby cautioned that anyone who pays monies to agents or individuals with the hope of securing enlistment into GAF is equally culpable in the fraudulent act.”
The military further urged interested applicants to consult the Daily Graphic and the Ghanaian Times for additional information on the enlistment process and to avoid fraudulent recruitment sites on social media.
