Frederick Ayeh donates to support Buabin community

Frederick Ayeh, a philanthropist, humanitarian, and native of Buabin, a community around Dunkwa-On-Offin in the Upper Denkyira East Constituency in the Central Region of Ghana has donated an amount of Three Thousand Ghana cedis (GHS3,000) to support an upcoming sanitation scheme in his community.

Mr. Ayeh who doubles as the founder of the Frederick Ayeh Foundation located in Buabin opted to support the initiative by community leaders of Buabin after they reached out to him for assistance.

Speaking on the background of his donation on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, Mr Ayeh underscored that a vibrant and thriving community depends on the health of its people as such his kind gesture forms part of his contribution towards the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. He mentioned that “sanitation is everyone’s responsibility because it promotes our general wellbeing and health, and I am deeply touch by the initiative of the community leadership, and their decision to conduct a cleaning exercise is truly inspiring.”

Mr. Ayeh states that his support is towards the purchasing of tools and items including wheelbarrows, shovels, and pickaxes for the communal labour project, ensuring that Buabin community and the constituency achieves SDG goals which focuses on sanitation and hygiene for all. He further pledged his support in upcoming projects of the community.

Reacting to the donation by Mr. Ayeh, some residents of the community have expressed their appreciation. Maame Akua said “this is so thoughtful of him and we pray that God blesses him immensely. This gesture shows that Frederick Ayeh is a true son of Buabin and when he is elevated he can do much better for us”.

Kwame Bediako, a farmer and resident of Buabin added saying “when a community is clean its residents are protected from certain diseases. This donation will go a long way to help us and for me, I will go all out on the day of the exercise to ensure that the cleaning exercise is successful”.

Speaking to other residents, they mentioned that Mr. Ayeh has done a lot for the community and they are not surprised for his kindness. Mr. Ernest, said that “he has established a foundation in this Buabin community that support our school children with educational materials such as books, school uniforms, pens, etc. and it has helped us as farmers. All that we say is may the God blesses him.”

Leadership of the community expressed their gratitude to Mr. Ayeh for his assistance and called other philanthropists especially residents of the Buabin community and the other community members locally and those outside Ghana to come to their aid both materially and financial to embark on more developmental projects in the community.
