Some key policies Richard Kovors hopes to initiate when elected

A presidential aspirant of the upcoming National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) elections of the Oforikrom Municipality in the Ashanti region, Richard Kovor, is set to lead policy conversations that focuses on financial empowerment avenues for personnel.

The youth advocate, multi-award winning leader and a teaching and research assistant at the Department of English of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is confident the initiative will enlighten service personnel on explorational ventures beyond their monthly allowances.

Having served as the president of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at KNUST, Mr Kovor is considered to possess and exhibit exceptional leadership prowess of which when given the mandate to serve will excel.

Addressing the media on March 22, 2024, Mr Kovor noted engagement dubbed the NASPA Oforikrom Policy Conversation is aimed at restructuring the association to discharge its mandate saying “through an extensive conversation with Personnel, my team and I have come up with five (5) policy pillars that we believe will help restructure the association to discharge its mandate to the people”.

The Presidential aspirant expresses confidence in the Personnel of the association to give him the mandate to marshal the vast experience he has attained in leadership over the years.

“I am confident that my abled personnel within the Oforikrom Municipality will give me the mandate to serve their interest come March 27”, he said. Mr. Kovor added that his policy statements resonate with the discerning Personnel giving him the assurance and confidence to come out victorious after the polls.

Master Richard Kovor since November 2023 has been engaging National Service Personnel at workplaces trying to know the challenges they face and to devise pragmatic means of resolving them.  Among some of the policies he hopes to initiate to resolve these challenges includes ASK NASPA Oforikrom Convos, NASPA OFORIKROM SO ME MU Scheme (NOSS), the Skilled NSP and Advocacy and Lobbying for the welfare.
