
The Black Stars of Ghana will have their potentials tested in a preparatory match against the Brave Warriors of Namibia on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The game is to assess the readiness and test the fitness level of the Ghanaian players before they depart the country to Ivory Coast for the opening of the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations Tournament (AFCON).
The game will take a kick off at 8 P.M

In a communique by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the game will be played at a free ticket at both the popular stands and centre line stands of the stadium.
This initiative is to allow fans troop in more and rally their support and cheer the black stars on against their Namibian opponents.
“This is to say thank you to Ghanaians for supporting the Black Stars and to cheer the national team on for a good sendoff to Ivory Coast for the 2023 AFCON,” the statement read.
The Black Stars are drawn against Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique in group B and will play their first game on January 14, 2024.
