Hulede Foundation is a foundation that provides a one-year academic free scholarship to Brilliant but Needy Students so that they can continue their university education at KNUST.
Eligibility
The Scholarship is available to all Ghanaian students in their first, second, third, and final years of a full-time programme.
Requirements
- Prospective continuing students must have a minimum grade of Second Class Upper. First-year applicants must have a WASSCE result/aggregate of at least Fifteen (15). Students with an aggregate of 16 must explain why they should be considered for the scholarship.
- All prospective applicants must include the following documents with their applications:
- Admission Letter Acceptance Letter WASSCE Certificate Detailed Proof of Financial need
- Letters of recommendation and other awards or certificates (if any).
Continuing student applicants should also add their complete University Academic Transcripts, (including current – Second Semester results) (including current – Second Semester results). - Beneficiaries are eligible to apply; they must explain why they should receive the scholarship a second time and demonstrate their involvement in community service.
Please Keep in Mind
- All documents must be enclosed in a sealed envelope that clearly displays the Applicant’s name, program, student reference number, and phone number.
- Documents should be submitted to the Directorate of Student Affairs, J Harper Building, Students Support and Financial Services (Room 19).
- Any writing should be done in Times New Roman font, size 12, and double-spaced.
After the deadline, no applications will be accepted. Only those who have been shortlisted will be contacted for an interview.
