Astute Presidential Aspirant in this year’s Health Sciences Students’ Association (HESA) Elections at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Bernard Bosomah Yeboah popularly known as BBY, has donated some assorted items to the HESA Food Bank and Sanitary Bank project (Kura Me Mu).
The HESA food bank and Sanitary project is an initiative of the Kwame Adu-led administration which was launched last semester.
The project seeks to provide foodstuff to assist needy students and also help female students in the college who find it difficult to purchase sanitary pads.
Making the donation, BBY, the most talked about presidential aspirant said the gesture was in line with his vision to see a united HESA where the average, needy student of the college is supported.
The items donated includes drinks, sanitary pads, Milo, cooking oil, rice, food spices, milk, sardines, among others.
According to BBY, he understands the struggles that the ordinary HESA member goes through having come from a humble background, it is on this wise note that he was deeply moved to contribute towards the project.
During the presentation of items, the HESA Women’s Commissioner expressed her appreciation and thanked BBY for his benevolence.
The HESA President also used the opportunity to call on others to do emulate the kind gesture.
