The 2021 University of Ghana SRC elections is headed toward a run-off between Team Nana B-Mr. Acquah and Team Asumadu-Ndukwe.
Per the total valid vote cast, Samuel Amos Ofosu and Alfred Acquah took a commanding lead with a difference of 652 votes against Prince Asumadu and Wisdom Ndukwe.
This year’s election recorded a total of 13,723 votes for the presidential portfolio.
Samuel Amos Ofosu popularly known as Nana B obtained a total of 5,760 votes representing 41.97% of the total valid vote cast against his closest contender Wisdom Ndukwe, who pulled 5,102 votes representing 37.18%.
Felix Ayittah and Paul Andam managed to get 1,947 votes representing 14.19%.
Priscilla Asantewaa Ayeh and Henry Nii Adjiri Quarcoopome also obtained 914 votes representing 6.66%.
The new date for the run-off between Team Nana B-Acquah and Team Asumadu-Ndukwe is yet to be announced by the Electoral Commission.
Treasurer candidate, Daniel Obeng Asamoah obtained 9,717 votes to beat Abdul Razak who recorded 3,653 votes.

General Secretary:
Rebecca Derry Mvinviel = 4,894 votes (34.74%)
Jonelle Mate-kodjo= 1,737 votes (12. 44%)
Stephanie Naadu Antwi = 7,373 votes (52.82%)
Treasurer:
Daniel Obeng Asamoah = 9,717 votes (72.68%)
Abdul Rashid Abdul Razak = 3,653 votes (27.32%)
