Voting has officially begun at the various polling centres across campus.
Students have started voting to elect new leaders to steer the affairs of the students representative council.
Sor far, there have been a low turnout at some polling centres which include NATSU, Law Faculty, Casely Hayford and others.
Security has been beefed up at all polling stations.
The elections will produce new executives for the President, Vice President, Secretary, Financial Secretary and Women’s Commissioner offices.
In all, 13 candidates are on the ballot seeking to be elected as President of Ghana.
They are; Michael Abuah, DSK Acquaah Jnr, Frank Owusu, Prince Adjei Ackah,Kevin Abban, Catherine Osei, Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwah, Emmanuella Bessa Simons, Comfort Awuah, Dadzie Andy Derek, Solomon Coffie, Scholastica Yeboah and Delali Setugah Forgive.
Sympathizers of some aspirants have been spotted actively campaigning too close to polling stations.
