The Junior Common Room of the University Hall, popularly known as Katanga, is backing Frank Owusu, one of the presidential candidates in the 2021 Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Students Representative Council (KNUST-SRC) election for victory.
The hall believes that Frank Owusu, is the better candidate to lead the students’ front of the University.
In a statement announcing their decision, they urged the University community to support Frank Owusu in his bid to secure the high office of the SRC as President.
Frank Owusu’s endorsement comes after Jude Sabutey was disqualified from the SRC Presidential race
Meanwhile, DSK Aquaach Jnr has received the endorsement of the JCR of the Unity Hall.
Michael Abuah has also received endorsement of SCISA, GESA among other recognized groups on campus.
The 2021 KNUST SRC election is scheduled for Thursday, August 5.
