Women’s commissioner aspirant for this years Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s Students Representative Council election, Scholastisca Yeboah, has disclosed to file a lawsuit against the SRC electoral commission ahead of the August 5 SRC election.
This follows alleged mistakes from the SRC Electoral commission regarding the electoral process.
In a tweet she tagged @Thrillernewsgh, she said;
I have encountered two mistakes from the EC through this election process all against me… I state it emphatically that any difference i see on Thursday will attract a court case. I mean this. @KNUST_Live @Thrillernewsgh @Campus360_daily @knust__src @KNUSTSRCEC

According to her, the SRC EC first darkened her face when the display of aspirants were released.

It all started when my face was darkened on the display of aspirants from onset. Well let me say again, from the balloting and the new display of candidates states that i am number 1. Don't attract a court case for the SRC or yourself 2/2 @KNUSTSRCEC @Newswave_media @KNUST_Live pic.twitter.com/jT4ZsByTII

Again, she picked number one during the balloting but her position on the ballot screen was not well arranged. Meanwhile, all other aspirants have theirs properly arranged. According to her, her position was changed from number 1 to number 2 on the ballot screen until she went to the University Information Technology Services (UITS) to issue a complain.

It is based on these reasons that she has stated that should any changes occur on the election day (Thursday August 5), she would file a lawsuit suit against the SRC electoral commission.
