The presidential candidates standing in the 2021 KNUST SRC election have picked lots for positions on the ballot screen.
Michael Abuah will be number one on the ballot screen in the 2021 SRC presidential election.
DSK Acquaah Junior also took the number 2 position as balloting occurred at a meeting with the Electoral Commission.
Below is the order of the candidates on the ballot.

- DSK Acquaah Jnr
- Frank Owusu
- Prince Adjei Ackah
- Kevin Abban
On Monday August 2, one of the leading aspirants, Jude Sabutey, who hoped to run for the presidency was disqualified from standing as presidential candidate in the 2021 SRC elections.
Hence, There are 13 aspirants vying for the portfolios as President, General-Secretary, Financial Secretary and Women’s Commissioner.
Although there is a gender imbalance with respect to those vying for the four available offices, ultimately the election will see two women elected for the office of General Secretary and Women’s Commissioner, with the men taking the position of President and Financial Secretary.
This is because all the eight (7) men contesting in the election are either going for the Presidential office or the position of Financial Secretary with the six (6) women in the race vying for either General Secretary or Women’s Commissioner.
