
Needy History students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) can now heave a sigh of relief as the executive council of the Historical Society of KNUST (HISOK) has instituted a policy to help provide needy students on the university campus with free food items.

The initiative, which is a brainchild of the Hisok President, Frederick Ayeh, is aimed at targeting over Eighty needy students.
According to the HISOK President who spoke to Thriller News GH, they have observed that some students face serious financial challenges and as a result, the intervention will significantly help improve their conditions.
The package includes food items such 5kg bag of rice, cooking oil, others.
The welfare package is limited to only History major students (1st year- 4th year).

Interested needy students can also contact any executive of the Historical Society of KNUST (HISOK).
This welfare package becomes the first-ever relief initiative of the students’ association.
