KNUST: SRC Financial Secretary discloses when 2021 KBN Beneficiary list will possibly be released

SRC Financial Secretary of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Osei Fosu Solomon has said resources allocations to beneficiaries of the 2021 Ketewa Biara Nsua(KBN) support fund and KNUST Bursary have been completed.

Speaking to Thriller News GH, Osei Fosu Solomon explained that bureaucratic procedures have been duly followed and the Council at the moment is awaiting the approval of the Vice Chancellor of the University to commence the disbursement of funds.

I can assure you that the necessary channels have been duly followed and completed, the Dean of Students Office are done with the appropriate scrutiny and at the moment is awaiting the approval of the Vice Chancellor of the University to commence the disbursement of funds”, he noted.

Master Osei Fosu Solomon also noted that as soon as the approval of the Vice Chancellor is given, the council hopes to begin the disbursement process next week.

It will reflect very soon and I am of the assurance that the list will possibly be released latest by next week,” he added.

KNUST SRC Ketewa Biara Nsua (KBN) offers a one-year Bursary to Brilliant but Needy Students to enable them pursue their University Education. Interview session for 2020/2021 KBN as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic commenced on Monday, January 25 2021 and ended Friday, February 5 2021 at the College level.
