Samuel Sesah has now been officially sworn in as the Students Representative Council (SRC) President of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for the 2020/2021 academic Year.

He was sworn in as KNUST’s new president on Thursday 4 February, 2021 in a ceremony attended by the Vice Dean of Students, Manager of KNUST owned hostels, Senior Deputy Registrar and other stakeholders of the University.

KNUST SRC President, Samuel Sesah is a fifth-year Doctor of Optometry student.

He won the election in a landslide victory as he beat three other presidential candidates to win the seat.

He obtained 8,194 votes which represented 87% of the total valid votes cast.

In an unprecedented COVID-19 dictated educational system, Sesah will have the task of ensuring students needs are met.
