Star Ghana Limited, Drop’s of Love Foundation, Joy Foundation donates to the needy

Joy foundation, Star Ghana Limited, Drop’s of love Foundation and Organizers of Ghana Student Awards on Sunday, 27 December 2020, made a donation to the needy in James Town- Accra.

Items donated included bags of rice, cooking oil, canned fish, tin tomatoes, bottles of soft drinks, milo, milk, sugar and biscuits to support the needy in this festive season. Other items donated were school bags and books for children’s usage.

In an interview with the founder and CEO of Joy Foundation, Mr Jedidiah Aryeepah said the kind gesture was in line with the non-profit organization’s dream to provide for the needs of the underprivileged in the society,including children and put smile on their faces as we celebrate in this festive season.

Also Speaking to Madam Patrica Woble and John B Ackon the Executive Directors and the CEO of Drop’s of Love Foundation, Mr Ahiati lucky Benedict. They stressed that as a foundation who believe that everybody must enjoy in this festive season so that as we celebrate in our homes, we must see the need to share with our mothers, the widows and the aged. Adding that most of them are old and they would have smiled if they are still young and active.

The Chiefs and elders of James Town Community expressed profound gratitude to the Joy Foundation, Star Ghana limited, Drops of love Foundation and Ghana Student Awards for supporting them in the festive season.

A beneficiary’s who expressed gratefulness to the foundation for the kind gesture expressed relief over the act of benevolence showed to them by the foundation as they had no hope of celebrating the yuletide until the arrival of the gifts.

The foundation at a separate event presented the items to them according to the number of aged, widows and widowers in each community.

Joy Foundation is a non-governmental organisation which focuses on eradicating poverty, Street Children, at risk children, women and children empowerment as well as orphans and the less privileged.

Every year the foundation feeds hundreds of children who are on the streets and at orphanage homes and widows.

It also gives scholarship to brilliant but needy students in Ghana.
