President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on Ghanaians to be modest in their celebrations in the festive period as Covid-19 still rages on.
He said this year’s Christmas will be marked in an unconventional way as a result of the vagaries of Covid-19.
“Let us celebrate safely and responsibly. All of us must avoid anything that will jeopardise the lives of our beloved ones and put others in harm’s way.”
President Akufo-Addo made this known in his Christmas message to the nation.
