The Electoral Commission has reassured Ghanaians of its readiness for Monday’s general election.
Briefing the media on Sunday, Chairperson of the Commission, Madam Jean Mensah, said that procurement of a wide variety of election materials have been made and have been distributed to polling stations across the country.
She also said that Covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to at various polling stations.
Jean Mensah stressed that Monday’s exercise will be free and fair.
She says that the final results of the election will be announced within 24 hours as earlier promised.
She urged eligible Ghanaians voters to participate in the exercise.
