UPSA publishes residential fees for 2020/2021 academic year

Management of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has published a new hostel user fees and related charges ahead of the reopening for the 2020/2021 academic year early next year.

Contained in a notice from the Business and Development Committee (BDC) of the University, management says the fees only covers for seven (7) weeks of the first semester.

For four (4) in a room, students are expected to pay a total of GH¢ 770.00 including GH¢ 30.00 as Hall Dues and GH¢ 20.00 as “UPSA hostel initial electricity credit”.

For two (2) in a room, students are to pay GH¢ 1,510.00 including GH¢ 30.00 as Hall Dues and GH¢ 40.00 as “UPSA hostel initial electricity credit”.

The portal will be opened for booking in batches. In the first batch, Level 400 Degree Students portal will be allowed to access the portal from Tuesday 8th to Friday 11th December 2020. For Diploma and Degree level 100 Students, Tuesday 15th to Friday 18th December 2020.

For the second batch of Students, Continuing and top-up degree levels 300 and 200 and diploma level 200, will be allowed to book a room from Tuesday 9th February to Friday 12th February 2021.

FEES FOR 4-IN-1 OCCUPANCY ROOM

UPSA Hostel facility user fee/student/academic year: GH₵720.00

Hall Dues: GH₵ 30.00

UPSA hostel initial electricity credit: GH₵ 20.00

TOTAL: GH₵ 770.00

 

FEE FOR 2-IN-1 OCCUPANCY ROOM

UPSA Hostel facility user fee/student/academic year: GH₵1,440.00

Hall dues: GH₵ 30.00

UPSA hostel initial electricity credit: GH₵ 40.00

TOTAL: GH₵ 1,510.00
