Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Mafo has tested positive for Covid-19.
He has, as a result, begun strict compliance to treatment protocols.
This was made known by the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, on Tuesday, July 7 at the weekly press update in Accra.
Last Tuesday Ghanaian journalist who operates on social media, Kevin Tailor has dropped a huge allegation, saying President Nana Akufo Addo has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus together with Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo.
According to the controversial journalist who also heads Loud Silence Media, the President and the Minister are hiding the truth and probably the ones who started spreading the disease after returning to Ghana on official assignment.
He said he and his team have investigated on this and can, therefore, say authoritatively that Nana Akufo Addo and Yaw Osafo Marfo are ‘carriers’ of the disease which has become wild crises at the moment.
