In a report by Net 2, the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has settled the WASSCE examinations fees for all final year students in Ghana.
This move is to ease the burden that has been brought on the parents of these students by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The report by Net 2 reads;
“President Akufo- Addo says the for the first time in history , his government has taken over the full payment of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) fees for all final year students due to write the WASSE and in addition has made adequate provision for teachers and students from health, learning and teaching materials to ensure that the work is made a bit easy for them.”
