Asare Bediako, A first year metallurgical student of KNUST has donated sanitizers to drivers at Agona in the Ashanti Region to fight the spread of the pandemic.
About 100 Sanitizers were donated. In addition, Asare Bediako educated them on the precautionary measures put in place by Government to curb the spread of the COVID-19.
Asare Bediako enumerated some of the Measures as frequent cleaning using rubbing alcohol, of the dispensing pump, doorknobs, tables and counter surfaces, POS devices and mobile phones, counting machines and calculators.
Others included wearing of protective nose masks where necessary, sanitizing of hands after handling cash, cleaning of pump nozzles, as well as the frequent washing of hands with running water and soap after every one hour of service.
Receiving the items, the Station Master thanked Asare Bediako and his team describing the gesture as timely.
