SOCSA-KNUST aims at Redefining Society For Quality Development and in view of this;
The 2019-2020 Administration of SOCSA-KNUST has started an Initiative dubbed (SOCSA-KNUST COMMUNITY IMPACT PROJECT) to help instigate change in communities.
With this Project, SOCSA-KNUST is supporting the graduants of _Deduako Community Special Vocational School_ with the requisite tools and equipment to help them establish their own business and to help them live independent lives.
This Project would be continued every year by the subsequent Administrations of SOCSA-KNUST.
KOTEI-DEDUAKO COMMUNITY SPECIAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
(FOR THE INTELLECTUALLY DISABLED)
The Community Special Vocational School was established for the purpose of providing vocational training to students with intellectual Disabilities where they participate in comprehensive programmes, Life Skills and Vocational training that prepare, promote and empower them for independent living in their communities.
These students have various degrees of intellectual disabilities, and have been trained in various vocational skills and acquired some level of proficiency in their various vocations.
