The Historical Society Of KNUST is organising educational trip for its members to familiarise themselves with some important places in the country.
The trip, which is organised every year, takes the students to places such as the Mountain Afadjato, Adome Bridge, Kwame Nkrumah Museum, Willi Falls, and other historic places in the country.
Students who take advantage of the trips would be exposed to the culture of the people in those places and exchange ideas to enhance their education.
The President of the Society(Hisok), Mr.Joseph Mensah Letsu, who disclosed this to Thriller News GH Media Crew, said the students would go to some places such as NZULENZU, ELMINA CASTLE, APPOLONIA FORT, NKROFO and learn new things such as hiking, swimming, cycling, canoeing, video shoot, photoshoot and other fun activities.
He said the students would also get the opportunity to meet prominent personalities in their Department such as the examination officer, Dr.Owusu Ansah.
The Vice President(Mr.Frederick Ayeh) also pointed out that participants would also exhibit their Ghanaian culture to the outside world and build long lasting relationships with their colleagues in the society.
The president again said students from the Department are all eligible to participate in the trip scheduled for 15th November,2019 – 17thNovember and, therefore, encouraged every member to take advantage of the programme to visit various places.
