The Ghana Armed Forces has opened applications for its 2025 enlistment and recruitment exercise in all 16 regional capitals.
Officials said the new recruitment will give qualified applicants across the country an equal opportunity to join the service.
In a press release on Sept. 29, the Armed Forces cautioned the public against false recruitment links and individuals who claim they can privately enlist applicants into the service.
“No officer of the Ghana Armed Forces or the Military High Command sends out invitations to applicants,” the Armed Forces said in a statement signed by Capt. Veronica Adzo Arhin, acting director of public relations.
Army recruitment is widely regarded as one of the most competitive career entry routes for young Ghanaians. Thousands apply each year for limited slots.
Fraudsters take advantage of the high demand for army jobs by posing as people with ties to senior officers. They often spread false recruitment notices on social media platforms and promise applicants positions in exchange for money.
This year, the Ghana Armed Forces has appealed to the public to help protect the integrity of the recruitment process.
According to the Armed Forces, official recruitment details has been published on its websites, gafonline.mil.gh and gafrecruitment.mil.gh.
