A communique was released by the school management on 8th April 2020 that spelt out some measures they had put in place to ensure that in as much as students are not physically present on campus, teaching and learning will go on and the semester will not be disturbed much.

It was agreed at the meeting that, if the situation improves according to forecasts by medical professionals and government, face-to-face teaching and examination will resume as follows:
The University will resume face-to-face lectures and revision from Monday, May 25, 2020 to Friday, June 12, 2020.
End of semester exams will begin Monday, June 15, 2020 to Friday. July 03,2020.
However, the following options were discussed with regard to the exams;
Examiners give take-home examination should incase the universities does not re-open for face-to-face teaching and learning. In this case, the period stated for examinations will be used for such take-home examination.
Examinations will go ahead as usual if face-to-face teaching commences as planned. This means exams will take place on the Monday, June 15, 2020, to Friday. July 03, 2020, on-campus not virtually should incase the pandemic die out soon and everything comes back to normal.
Online examinations do not look feasible due to internet access challenges. Additionally, the number of courses to be written at the end of the semester means the University will need about 1000 sessions to complete examinations if the system can only allow for a course at a time. However, if the system can allow for multiple courses to be written at a time, then the University can work within the 15-day examination schedule barring any technical challenges.
