The Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has suspended all public gatherings after the country recorded two case of coronavirus.
In a communique signed by the University’s Registrar notes of measures outlined to tackle the spread of coronavirus among students.
The measures outlines by the University includes the suspension of all hall week celebrations as well as any outdoor event.
The statement also mention of steps taken by the University Hospital to ensure good sanitation practices at the halls of residence notably.
The University has further directed the halls of residence to mount Veronica buckets in front if the halls to enhance the practice of frequent handwashing among students.
